  • Formatting Explained
  • Formatting - erases everything on your hard drive so you can start over with a fresh install of your operating system. It can be useful returning the speed of your computer to its original condition. It will clear out any traces of registry errors, old files taking up lots of space, spyware, malware, and most viruses (on rare occasions a virus can infect a mother board and the mother board's basic input/output system (bios) needs to be updated, "flashed", or the chip needs to be physically removed from the board). Also if you plan on selling, donating, or just getting rid of a computer its a good idea to format the hard drive to prevent people from viewing your personal files.

  • Basic Format = Installing Windows/Linux/Mac OS on a computer (legal copy of windows is required for either a reformat or format on a PC), (Mac software and EFi-X required for OSX instal on non-Mac), (if you want linux please specify which distro you prefer, redhat, ubuntu, slax, backtrack) - A basic reformat is best if you already backed up a computer or don't care about loosing your information. A reformat can be an easy way to clean out your computer and get it running like when it was new. If all you want is a fresh instal of your OS (windows 2000, xp, xp64, windows server, vista, vista 64, windows 7, windows 7 x64, mac os, etc.) we offer that for a low price of $19.99. This is the best option if you regularly back up your information, don't worry about loosing your information, or if you want to give away or sell your computer. Basic Format - if you recently got a new hard drive or have a hard drive that just needs a basic format. (Basic Driver instals on 2000, and XP included).
  • Advance Format = (Windows/Mac only) Like the basic make sure you have already backed up important information before you ask us to perform this type of service. This service does not include a back up. Not only will you get a fresh format but we'll take the extra time to instal all updates, anti-virus of your choice, any software you own or would like to buy, or we can also recommend various free software packages you might want.
  • Full Back-up Format = We backup all your personal files, pictures, movies, music, etc. reformat your hard drive and reinstall all your software and copy your personal files back to the reformatted hard drive. (Please note, we will not reinstall any illegally downloaded/installed software, if the software costs money you must own the software for us to be able to instal it). 
    $74.99 version information is backed up and temporarily held on one of our computers. Then copied back to yours.
    $100 version we buy a second hard drive for you (hard drive is free with this service) we copy everything to this hard drive reformat the old one then allow you to copy what you wish or have us copy everything back to the original and keep both the original and the copy.
